Best Tyres for a 2014 Mini Cooper?

I'm looking for tyre recommendations on a 2014 petrol Mini Cooper, please? It's got mismatched tyres on it currently and I want a uniform set asap.

It’s my daughter’s car, so safety is primary concern. It’s never going to be driven 10/10ths nor tracked.
Budget not massively relevant but I’d probably baulk at paying more than £150 a corner. But that is plucking a figure out of the air. If that gets Chinese ditchfinders then I’ll pay more.

What size are the wheels as this will affect the choice e.g. if it's 15" then you'll only get premium touring or all season tyres?

Good question - I will check this evening. I seem to recall that it has the 16" (I think it was neither the smallest 15" not the largest 17").

It is fitted with 195 / 55 R16 87V tyres currently
