VW do the exsact same thing! but dont think they are using a Garrett GT30r turbo! wink

i cant realy see any downsides to it. the only problem is the stupid top mounted intercooler. does anyone know of a way to mount a proper front mounted one? or has anyone had sucsess with a decent sized chargecooler??

thanks Chris.

The twurbo ditches the supercharger, im more interested in fireball racing turbo conversions myself
formthe website i looks like the Alta twurbo retains the supercharger. BBR and GTT have true turbo conversions that remove the supercharger. i have seen the fireball website but cant find any details on whats included. anyone got any links???

thanks Chris.

The sad thing is, he used to produce stunning Renault 5 GT Turbos but he's lost the plot with the mini, look at the gtt300t kit, since when did people fit an in cab boost controller?! also there's a bit of a subtle argument going on even with his most vehement tuning supporters about his CAI as it was fitted to a standard cooper s and he lost 7 bhp, rolands answer, drill holes in the back of the CAI!
thanks for that! its soo easy to get pulled into the hype about a tuner. on some boards the top tuners (not allways the best) are almost like king of the forums.

on the boost controler thing though, with turbos most electronic boost controler (the best) are mounted in the cab. this means you can switch between diffrent pre set boost limits. manual boost controlers aren't that acurat and i have heard can cause big fluctuations in presure.

thanks Chris.

I've personally used GTT for my JCW and they are very good with regards tuners. Regardless of what power claims their "packages" suggest, my car is MUCH better and QUICKER after having some work done. I dont care what a RR says my is running, as it's driving the thing that counts.
i have only heard good things about them apart from on here. do they do hteir tuning on the road then?? this would be diffrent to the way most is done (normally on a dyno).

have any of you guys got infresion on the twurbo kit or similar turbo-supercharger kits???

thanks Chris.
