Cooper Diesel Clubman - any good?

We're thinking of swapping the Mini One for a Clubman diesel, are there any recurring problems with this model (e.g such as the thermostat housing, gearbox etc) and is the real-life fuel economy anywhere near what Mini claim?

I think we might be going for a Cooper D hatchback rather than the Clubman, seems to be more choice for our budget
