I'm hoping that this is the right forum for this but Mods please feel free to move if not...
I am looking to buy an air rifle to do some target shooting. It's something that I have always fancied owning and doing and we have a large enough garden with a safe area that I can use.
Can anyone recommend a supplier who delivers? The one I am talking to is quoting 4-5 weeks which is too long really.
Thanks

I got mine from Pellpax. They have/had a 4-5 week lead time when I ordered. They had to recruit new drivers according to their website due to CV illnesses.
I also got an adjustable scope which wasn't that much less expensive than the air rifle tbh. I also got the target shooting bundle that they do.
Despite warnings about getting a cheap air rifle, I am really enjoying it. I just shot 50 pellets this afternoon at a target around 40m away. I managed 3 x 10 all on target (the others were an 8 and a 9 out of 10) which I am well pleased with especially as it is a little windy today.
It took me a few days to zero the sights in but now I think that they are almost there. The odd pellet still goes awry but that must be the combination of the wind; the poor ballistics of the mass produced pellets; and my wobbly head
I figure that if I do carry on enjoying it, I can upgrade to a more expensive rifle; keep the sights; and flog the old rifle. As it didn't cost too much I wont lose that much (well nothing at all really as I'm enjoying it)

Having fun is what's most important in my book.
Looking forward to when my son can come and visit us after the lockdown as he is a good shot having shot quite a few weapons with the Army Cadets and where he is now an instructor.
Hopefully I can get plenty of practice in until he can visit us so I can kick his ass
