So looking forward to this event. Accommodation looks a challenge, found a 4 bed house in Portsmouth for good price, any suggestions on ticket packet options ?

This. We stayed at The Robin Hood Inn in Rowlands Castle. Lovely 20 min drive through the countryside every day and no queues. Cheap too!
I tried to book, full

Booking.com cancelled our booking for the 4 bed house in Portsmouth so we booked The Village Inn, just south of Petersfield 20 minutes from the Track. Looks a wonderful place. As I understand it still a few rooms left as of 27th September 2019

Thanks for all the suggestions.

Would agree about the nicer places to stay being just to the North but, there are only three minor roads in and they tend to get snarled up. The problem with Portsmouth is you have to use the Chichester ring road, loads of roundabouts which, again, get very busy. There are plenty of nice places to the East that allow you to come in on the A27 which is big enough to cope with more traffic. Of course, finding somewhere might be tricky.

Having said that, if you plan to get there when the gates open, at 07:30 you shouldn't have any trouble from anywhere, you're coming a long way to see it so may as well make the most of your trip. Leaving has been pretty easy in recent years too, with "over the road", there's plenty going on until late at night so it's no longer a case of everyone leaving after the last race. I left at around 19:30-8pm this year and was on clear roads within 5-10 minutes.
Thanks

The best road in the area. B2141.
That's the way the AA Route Planner suggests.

Sounds great, sadly I'm not bringing my Caterham, I'm guessing we'll be in some people mover. Still by the look of the road whatever it is we are in it will probably get thrashed within an inch of its life.

Hope the sun comes out for you, did the Revival a few years back and it was glorious, a bit sweaty in the period costume though.

What are you going as?
Great question. The team meets up for our 1st get together to discuss the whole event on the 15th November, That is on the agenda. Watch this space.

Buriton is a lovely little Hampshire village, but it is a little village. You're staying in its entertainment hub - unless you count the duck pond near the church a few yards further down the road on the corner.

Some like that sort of detachment (I certainly do) but others might start bouncing off the walls after a couple of nights, especially after the initial idea of staying in somewhere as busy as Portsmouth. I foresee a nominated driver status at some point in your near future! biggrin
It sounds bliss

Just looked on the Goodwood website to see if there's any information on the Revival, sadly nothing it's probably a little early. Seems like the China Virus is causing havoc in the sports world.
