Goodwood have announced their season of Breakfast Clubs, beginning on March 1st with Vee Power Sunday.

I've requested to attend in my E500 estate - this date last year was 'Fast Estate Sunday' where it was raining cats and dogs and made for a great old school uncrowded day with no queues for the breakfast truck!

What's an E500?
Mercedes Benz S211 (W211) E500 (E Class estate) built 2003 in Sindelfingen, Germany and registered 2004, UK.

M113 engine with a 4999cc, eight cylinders in a 'V' configuration, ICE.

EDIT: Which has been turned down for a slot on display by Goodwood paperbag

First time around, I received an unusually swift response, so perhaps the initial rejection was an error?

Similar. Accepted into the venue, but not the grid I think.
Maybe it's the car?

They are still sending emails inviting attendees, so I doubt that you've been turned away. Did you receive an attachment with your VRN? If so, you're in and on the grid.

What does the attachment in the email say?
I think the attachment is your unique entry form in to the event to display your vehicle.
It is - I don't think that an attachment is sent for general access. My email points to an invitation to the 'Goodwood Motor Racing Circuit'. If it doesn't say that they you're not in.

Same. Body of the email also says my vehicle has been accepted for display.
Right now, I'm feeling more confused than Gordon the Gopher.

Last year, Fast Estate Sunday was a real wash out, but they still pressed on. It was great and had an old school feeling, thanks to the lack of crowds.

I waltzed straight up to the van for a breakfast bap hehe

Shirley, most visitors to Vee Sunday would be familiar with Lexus' answer to the M5? I imagine there won't be too many, however.

Sorry for the misfortune, Juice. Best let them know and suggest that another GT40 wouldn't be sniffed at by the attending crowd wink

Good luck with the repair.

Hi Jules,

From what you've said, it isn't this beauty that attended Fast Estate Sunday last March?
