Wow, what a day. It has re-ignighted my love of the event even though it has become a Monster.

I have so many Goodwood Moments already...

I met Bruno Senna, who was friendly and said he does not know if he will be in F1 next year.

I met all my Audi Rally Team heros inc Mikkola, Blomqvist, Rohrl and Arni Hertz (Mikkola's co-driver). Also Alistair McRae and his good looking 4x4 racer and a McRae Buggy.

This was quite impressive...

Brawn's can't run due to some silly F1 rules.

McRae's racing Jeep thing.. (V nice!).

Ermmm, the blue one is the new cab...

I will add more.

Tony Mason said over the speakers that this Esprit was a works rally car;

Anyone know much about it?

Another amazing amazing day. I took my 8 year old and was blown away when one of the Peugeot mechanics came over and said he could get in the Le Mans winning 908 car...

I have loads more pics to add.

Nice to see people like Eddie Irvine giving lots of autographs. My son got Bruno Senna, Webber, sato, Nakajima, Al Unser, Eddie's and a load more.

Glock had such a big smile when he was getting in the Toyotal rally car!

I got to talk to Pedro De La Rosa as he was taking a competition winner out in a SLR. He was a very friendly guy. The passenger was shaking with excitement (bless) and if you are on Piston Heads mate, give me a email and I can send over some pics. I thought it was funny when you got your camera out in the car (when pedro was 5 inches away) and you snapped away. I think you will have some good pictures of the white's of his eye's! LOL

Shoot me down but I am always gobsmacked when there is a spare seat on the supercar runs. I mentioned it to this guy (driving) and he shrugged... I would pay good money to charity to have a run (and have done so in the past)....

Nice car though.

Does anyone know who was driving the while Lambo with Tony Jardine?

Also, I guess Tony is not that well. Does anyone know what he is suffering from?

Just got home, day three is always a killer for me as my karting has murdered my feet and I struggle..
A friend had one of those machines that measure how far you walk per day. Well 12km's per day, means 36km's over the three days. No wonder I have sore feet!

Anyway, my Goodwood moments today;

Met Jenson, Sat in Aryton's Mclaren. Met Jay Lenno, Chris Evans and Walter Rohrl. Plus talked to Timo Glock and Nick Mason. Got to see all the supercars leaving the paddock.

Jenson was a star, he made sure everyone had his autograph!

Me in the McLaren

A few of my 2009 keep sakes!

It's like yesterday. I was watching the Supercars with my 8 year old son. This lady came up behind my son, leans on him, holds out her camera and takes a pic, not one but about five. I nearly lost it.

If you want people free pics take them early! You can blame people for being in the way when there is so little time..

A few more pics

Rohrl
