Does any one know why the S handlebar bike doesn't come with a bag block?

it does. i have one (it's an extra)
All of the other bikes at Evans had the blocks attached on show but not the S handlebars. Are they an extra on all models?

6 speed, tall handlebars, telescopic seatpost, raw laquer, superlight (titanium bits), mudgards, kojak tyres and the better wheels for when it's folded.

Being raced at Goodwood for the 2014 World Champs.

I'm the middle one, this was the end of lap 1 of 4:

Love that you've taken part in the World Series smile

Evans are the largest seller of Brompton bikes and they often have stuff on the shelf that varys in specification and in my experience a lot of them are better value than buying from Brompton direct.

Brompton charge £15 for the luggage block if you do a custom order and they also charge extra for colors other than black or white. In Evans You could get a red and black Brompton with luggage block and schawble tyres (£30 from Brompton) for £1k. Probably cost you £1125 ish from Brompton direct.
Thanks for reply smile

I believe its an extra on all bikes - good way of adding extra profit.
But - the S is an awkward one because of the size of some bags - the larger one's. There would be a risk of fouling the steering which doesn't happen on the other bar variants.
Yes I did wonder if it would be a disadvantage have S bars!

Is there a max height for these. You look guide tall on yours loiebaby? I guide fancy one but am around 6ft 3.

I have no real need for it but just though it might be good to take abroad with work sometimes if I fancied a bike ride, or are they only really any good for short commutes?
You'd need to try a few to get the right handlebars for your height but I'm sure you'd fit one, as for how they ride they are very comfortable and you could do a long ride easily.

That light looks great - I've got the Brompton rear light, didn't realise something similar was available for the front smile

Where did you get it from? Can't seem to find one similar.

Got it from Halfords. It's similar to the reflector and fits on the same bracket.

I've got a Garmin edge 1000 for my road bike and felt it was a little too big for my Brompton.

So I've ordered one of these.

Thought it was as cute as the bike wink

2 questions, how difficult /expensive is the 6 speed upgrade and how do you find the Kojaks as I'm tempted but concerned about punctures!
