I've been thinking for a while now that I want a new road bike to upgrade from my current one and it got me looking online at various manufacturers and specs and wondering what I'd buy if money was no object.

After some careful thought, I think it would be between:

https://www.canyon.com/en-gb/road/endurace/2018/en...

Or:

http://www.pinarello.com/en/bike-2018/road/gan-k-d...

I'm not saying these are the absolute best out there, but they kind of float my boat (if you know what I mean).

So.....what would you buy (road/mountain/cx etc)?

Money no objection and you'd choose a Canyon?
I know what you're saying.....there's just something about that bike that I really, really like for some reason. It just looks right.

That's fantastic.

Think I'd need a somewhat better FTP though before I could justifiably ride that! biggrin

Whilst they've come down to an almost real-world £7k from £10k, even if I had the money I couldn't spend that much on it, I think even if I had a bit of a windfall I couldn't spend that much on it - the lower-spec bikes that cost half as much wouldn't be any less fun or fast for me, but still, look at it! I might be a bit daft to say 'lottery win' for something that's 'only' £7k but it would have to be a lotto win or a massive jump in salary to buy it over the 'cheap' £3500 one.

I'm not into MTB's, but that looks sensational.

I'd also be half tempted by the Hope HB-160 someone mentioned above.
