Dartford to London commute

Hi all, does anyone here commute from Dartford to Battersea? Or do a similar journey? Im thinking of cycling to work 3 or 4 days a week and wouldn't mint a few tips on the quickest route and how long it takes, ect. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Thanks for the replies. Crayford, bexleyheath, welling, shooters hill, black Heath, and then through peckham and camberwell seems the most direct route. I have cycled it before but it was a few years ago and on a Sunday with no traffic. There's a few lung busting hills! Just wondered if there was an alternative route with less traffic. Did think of Thames cycle path but not sure how far you can get on it and what the distance would be.
