Help with CX build

After really losing interest in cycling i've decided to build up a frameset that's been hanging about for ages. It's a Mason Bokeh and is currently slung together with Ultegra 11s Di2, Mason wheels. I want to swap it to a 1x and use the existing levers so my first question is can I use a medium XTR Di2 with the road levers? Newt up is the crankset. It's got a Chris Kind 24mm BB in there which is staying if possible, what's the best solution for a single 11s chainring? Gearing wise I am looking at as 40T front with 11-40 rear cassette.

The bike will be used for CX and messing about. n

So, a few minutes on bike24 relieved me of £600. Bought pretty much everything bar the rear caliper adaptor to finish this bike off. XT Di2, 1x conversion with a 42T front, I have a Dura Ace crank from the old TT bike which will be perfect for this. The calipers are a bit salty and quite fancy some bling but i'll see how it goes. I'll be looking at 650b wheels I think for CX, in the meantime these will do. Planning on some 38-40 tyres and see how it goes.
