I think it is a medium. How are you finding the stumpjumper?

Not had a chance to try it yet. Can't wait for this Saturday. I've just been riding it around the city to bed the brakes in properly before I go loose on terrain where I really need them!!!!

The only problem so far is a crackling noise coming from the joints of the rear sub-frame when I pedal hard or go over bumpy ground. I think there is grit in the joints so I'm taking it back to the cycle shop in the morning for a quick disassemble, clean, regrease and back on the road.

Hopefully that'll sort it.

Its more likely to be coming from your pedals cranks or seatpost. If they didnt grease them up well when they assembled the bike will creak. i spent ages hunting around for the creak on my bike and in the end it was the seatpost!!

Definately not the pedals. I just bought some new DMR's yesterday and had them fitted professionally and the noise is still there. More likely to be my seatpost as they had to cut it down a little for me.

Cheers for the tip...i'll check it out now as I keep the bike next to my desk in the office. Can't afford to get this one nicked too!!!!

awsome bike

Your little girl doesn't think it's that awesome!

Nice bike though. I picked one of these racing machines up at the bike shop the other day. They're like feathers! I thought my MTB was light at 12.7kg!

I should really take some snaps from here in Austria. I'm off to the bike park in Semmering shortly plus the mountains near Vienna are stunning!

Please do beanbag, will brighten up the view from my desk hehe
Here's one from Großglocker in Tyrol in the south of Austria. Not exactly cycling but I was still on two wheels on a trusty Buell XB12S Lightning Long.

Stunning cloud9

And one cycling in Vienna on the Donau river on my way home from a nice long tour.....

Dammit those Specialised's look the business.

I keep perving over Demo 7's - but Specialised seem to have the whole range looking super sweet this year.
Stunning! The attention to detail is staggering. I'm highly jealous, although I still don't trust carbon after seeing some nasty frame failures on youtube!!!!

This one doesn't hehe

I'm not entirely sure if that is a "Tourney" or "Deore" rear mech. If it's the first, replace it right away with at least an LX mech. You'll find changing gear is so much nicer! smile

There is a lifetime warranty on the frame.
There may well be a lifetime warranty as there is on my Specialized Stumpjumper frame, however I wouldn't like to be sat on a carbon frame as it disintegrates below my crotch thank you very much! smile

It's an All Mountain Enduro bike so the frame is quite strong wink
I know. I've ridden the Alu version and it's a cracking bike. My bro-in-law even has one.

It still don't change the fact that I don't trust carbon frames! wink

Those pics were taken as I finished the build a few weeks ago (it was the first 09 Nomad in the country) and I have now put a white Charge Spoon saddle on instead of the WTB one shown in the pics.

I'm incredibly jealous! I long to have a Nomad. I've test ridden one a couple of times and it fits my riding style like a glove.

Stunning bike with absolute spot-on balance on the trails.

I'm not sure about the XC performance of it, but I'll plan to get one in perhaps a couple of years.....(I wish).....or at least when my Stumpy FSR decides enough is enough!!!!

shout New bike alert! hehe

I just bought it this lunch time and I bought it with Eggbeater 2 pedals and a Bontrager Node 1 cycle computer. I hopefully pick it up this Saturday so fingers crossed the weather is good! hehe

Here it is in the cycle shop. One Trek 2010 2.5 awaiting pedals and cycle computer.

Who can not love this bike she is a stunner.

I don't mean to be rude, but that sir is easily the ugliest bike I have ever seen!

But the main thing is that you like it..
I'm curious as to why you'd need a water bottle on what seems like an extreme DH bike!? Interesting frame though!
