Best way to store rechargable lights?

The days are getting longer and so the amount of night riding I do is getting a lot less. So soon it will be time for me to put my Cat Eye away for the summer but, question is, what is the best way to store it to preserve the battery's condition? Should it be fully charged, or fully discharged? I would tend to say discharged. Anyone got any tips?

Had a look around and it seems, for mine anyway that i should fully charge them before storing and re-charge every 90 days when not in use. Sounds resonable to me.
