Speedometer 888 fault honda civic

Hi all,

I am new owner of honda civic 1.8 petrol 2006. speedometer dials flickering when driving, sometimes showing 888 sometimes showing alright. It happen after car was warmed up, around 20 min drive. i am planning to remove unit and check wires, connections, probably i will give a good clean.i hope this is a case. However if not what other options i can try to do while everything will be removed?
Did someone had this fault before? and how fixed it ?

Quick update, removed speedometer cleaned pcb board, resolder connections, test, all works fine! So far two days driving no flickering.
