Importing one off / limited run cars and bikes

Hi all,

I know my way around after living here for six years, and know it is possible to import cars and bikes that meet Euro standards

However.....

I really (really, really, etc) want one of the CCM Spitfire Scramblers http://www.ccm-motorcycles.com/bikes/spitfire-scra...

But.....

They are only UK compliant. Spoke to them and I can get a build slot, have it delivered in the UK, shipped to CH, etc

So.....

Has anyone imported something in a similar vein to this - like a caterham or other low volume car / bike?

And......

Is it worth the hassle

Looks like the cost will just not be worth it, the value of the bike is around 12K CHF all in
