Has anyone on here tried this? The reason I'm asking is I can't find out a yes or no answer via google as to whether you can record video on the app or if it's just data that you can then overlay onto another video?

I've seen some that say yes there is video recording then other pages that have no mention of it at all. Please help it's doing my head in now!

As said above mounting the iphone securely is the biggest problem, I've got tomtom a iphone cradle but that is only a suction mount, so no good for the track.
The video and gps overlay is very good quality especially if you pair the phone to an external blue tooth gps receiver.

This has just decided I stick with another iphone next month when the contract with my 3gs is due for upgrade. Sounds like a lot of fun can be had with this app.

Did you go with a bluetooth reader or a cable one? And which did you buy?
