This is what happens when you try to go too fast too soon - first lap, no time to warm up tyres, brakes ... or talent.
His passenger arrived full of enthusiasm for her first trackday; couldn't talk about anything else all week, couldn't sleep the night before, etc. Then when she arrived she asked us (MX-5 Owners Club, Western Region) if we were going out on track and we all said no! (We've learnt our lesson, we never do Performance Car Action Days, too many idiots on track.) So she went off in search of some bloke whose car she could charm her way into. And this was who she found.
Amazingly both she and the driver were unharmed although she did admit she felt a bit sore. Bet she's a bit more sore today!

... I'm sure the Lupo driver is a much better race driver than me or a lot of people, but simple observation helps a great deal.
I'll also say that having watched the videos, he seems a good, polite track driver, and everyone can make mistakes. He was obviously on a flyer, and a lot quicker than a lot of people. I'll retract most of my previous statements!! ...
How could he have been on a flyer? It was the very first lap of the session!I'll also say that having watched the videos, he seems a good, polite track driver, and everyone can make mistakes.
