Simple question really - I'm a bit of a track noob, so never considered this before, but is it wise or unwise to book a track day and then, at the same circuit, a track evening? I'm considering 6th August at Snett for both sessions - mainly as a mate can only make the evening session, but I don't think just 2.5 hours will be enough for me.

Is this a daft idea?

Yeah, that's my concern, though on the first couple of days I've done, I've actually found myself going much better at 4pm as I 'get into the groove'.
I tend to take longer breaks than most people, but yes, it's a long day. Luckily Snett is only an hour from home.

Yeah - that's true. I'd probably end up doing less sessions in the daytime. Could hang about for a while and then clear off a bit later on, but before the evening session...

Basically I've been bitten by the bug and I just want to be on track the whole f'ing time...

Thanks chaps...

Yes, the noise limit at Snett drops to 102 for evenings - I got on at Bedford on a 101 day without issues (I'm 95.5 static, roughly), so should be OK. The briefing would indeed be during the last of my track time for the afternoon and I wonder if I'd be better off just driving to the flag as it were, and then sticking about for a bit to see my mate.

The car's a VX220 - on a hot day it's a fairly warm place to be in jeans and sleeves so I might welcome the chance to cool off and just watch for a bit.
