Best track experience for £1000????
Discussion
Morning chaps!
For my 5 year work anniversary work have said they'll buy me anything up to the value of £1000... So, I was thinking of doing the Jonathan Palmer Race Day which is around a grand.
Before I pull the trigger on this I thought I'd ask if there are any other track experiences that are worth considering also?
TIA

Basically no. Palmer is the best of this kind of thing by a long way.

For a similar cost, depending on what you are looking for/experience, a friend did a full day, open pitlane type, trackday at Spa.
He use a racing team (Boss racing I think) who brought along a Caterham R400 and mechanics to ensure that all was good to go on the day - basically turning it into an arrive and drive experience.
This is interesting though... I just messaged Boss Racing to see what they can offer me for £1000. Anything for a grand? Get them to buy you a cheap track car then you get loads of use out of it
Thanks, but I have enough rust st boxes to worry about!I was actually thinking of asking JP if they would swap the off-roading bit for some tuition in my own car......
