Really tempted to book Donnington for next Wednesday as I still have quite a lot of credit with Javelin.

I think they don't impose the briefing if you've been before... Seems safe from an health POV, even if I don't crash.

I guess it should be possible to make it contact less if I print my disclaimer and put it in a plastic folder that I handle with fresh gloves. No need to actually hand my licence either as they just want to see it, not touch it.
Attendance at the briefing not compulsory and keeping away from anyone should be OK if they let me handle the refuelling.
Only concern is injury putting unnecessary strain on the NHS.

At least that solves the question quite nicely. It's probably a fair decision. I hope the TDOs survive, and not just because Javelin have my money...

What do you think are the odds of organisers surviving this? I have money with Javelin and am happy with the "store credit" option - assuming they're not about to go bust! (As it's also my brother's money).
Same, I bought £1,000 worth of credit with a friend and we've only used x2 Silverstone TDs so we still have £550 between us in there. Not exactly a life changing sum of money to lose in the scheme of things but still.

It looks like Javelin are a small, family run business so hopefully very lean with low overheads.

If and when normality resumes, I am quietly confident our money will still be there, what with their good reputation and the incentive to protect it.

Yes that sounds a bit harsh. What if they extend the closure beyond the 3 months? Your money becomes their money but they don't have to give you anything in exchange?

Looks like TF is about to start again. A glimmer of hope for my end of May trip perhaps although a lot needs to happen before then, essential travel and FCO advice being the most obvious hurdles.
