These seem to be universally loved but there’s conflicting information on the road legality of them, I know they are E marked/rated but some sites say they are road legal and others say they are sold for competition use only and are stamped as such on them even though they are E marked?

Has anyone here got a set on their car recently that they can check please?

To be clear though, I’m not planning on using these 24/7 just want to know if they’ll be legal for the occasional drive to and from tracks on spare wheels if I know the weather is deffo gonna be nice or if I can’t be bothered switching them out at the end of the day. Aldo looking at doing the javelin sprint series in standard vehicles class. Thanks

Thanks for the input, turns out it must depend on when the tyres are produced and the sizing, I managed to get hold of some 21 dot dated 215/45/17’s and they are E marked and there’s no mention on the sidewalls of being for track use only so I’m hoping I should be good 👍

Thanks Rob, yeah will just be swapped on to and from trackdays sometimes if the weather pretty guaranteed nice and I can’t be bothered swapping them at the track
