2nd interview advice
Discussion
I recently had an interview which went very well, I have since been asked back for a 2nd interview with the same interviewers plus the CEO. I’ve been told it will be shorter than the 1st interview and not to bother wearing a suit so it does sound more relaxed.
I am confident securing the role is within my grasp but obviously I cannot be complacent or arrogant, I still need to prepare appropriately.
Any suggestions on what I should consider? They gave me a good insight of their current problems and what they are hoping to achieve by filling this position, so perhaps I should spend some time thinking about how I would go about it if I were offered the job.
Of course it could just be the that the CEO wants to make sure my face fits before hiring me, as he started the company on his own and it now has 25-30 employees.

Whilst there’s much more to it; for the short bit I can type here, it’s no different to the first interview. They’re trying to confirm if you’re going to add greater value than you’ll cost in wages. Can you articulate that?
They also want to know if you can do the job, will enjoy the job and will you fit. You need to know this too so do your own due diligence, both before the next stage and during that process.
And I’d wear a suit and no tie (but take one just in case!).
Good luck!

Hi,
Typically the second interview especially with the CEO will focus less on the detail of the role and more about your motivation and personality
So prepare.
Why do you want to work there, what motivates you, why is it about the company you really like. You should also be ready to speak about a challenge you have overcome, where you still need development or new skills.
Make sure you have done some in depth research on the company, products etc.
Also be ready for the inevitable, where do you see yourself in five years etc - still gets asked..

Well the interview was not quite what I expected.
He asked me who I was and if I had any questions, he 'just wanted to meet me' to make sure they make the right decision. I was in and out in ten minutes, casually speaking it went well but I don't know if I sold myself enough.
I guess now I just need to wait to hear something.
