Second job tax code?

I am looking at taken a second job, to only gain experience, which would be 3hrs per week at national living wage.

I current have a full time job. But wanted to know if my tax code would change on my main job? Which would flag up on the payroll at my current job?

Well, currently earning 18k, and this second job will be for 6 months, 3hrs per week. I couldn’t care for the money, it’s all to help my overall qualification.

So with that, I am guessing my main job tax code wouldn’t change?

My main job, basically yes. It’s not against my contract etc, but they might feel cheated, so I rather them not know. But if they asked then I would speak up.
