I always pay this forum a visit and I don't think I've ever seen a positive thread hehe

So, to break it up a bit... What're the best perks of your job?

For me, it's the flexible working hours and the ability to work from home.

^^^Currently going to interviews for jobs that allow this.

I can't take a piss when I need to...but to keep it positive...amount of holiday. Especially August's pay when I've not set foot in the building. smile
Best of luck - I don't think I could go to another company that didn't offer this!

Some interesting responses so far - I kind of wish I asked more questions, I'd love to know all the details (age, job role, salary, pension scheme etc)

I find it interesting, maybe that's a bit sad on my part though hehe

In return for long hours and an always available commitment, we get a lot of perks (on top of a very good salary and bonus package):

  • 8% pension match.
  • 4x salary life assurance policy
  • 2/3 salary income protection
  • private medical insurance
  • private GP access
  • subsidised dental plan (opt in)
  • subsidised travel insurance (opt in)
  • cycle to work (opt in)
  • salary sacrifice car scheme (opt in)
  • season ticket loan (opt in)
  • free health screening
  • free counselling service
  • well-equipped on-site Nuffield gym with free classes, squash court and most impressively swimming pool
  • subsidised masseuses, physios and personal trainers
  • big onsite canteen with varied options, with a 1.60 a day subsidy
  • free dinner after 7pm
  • free taxis home after 10pm
  • on site 'slumber pods' for when you need a nap (luckily never used it ...)
  • fairly regular expensive socials with the bosses picking up the tab
  • concierge services
Sounds like HSBC or similar
