Hi guys/ and girls of course!

I am trying to source more info on a car:

BMW M135i is apparently out or about to be.. I am after a 5 door car with xdrive (4x4)
can anyone give me more info? How to get prices and order/ register on waiting list etc?

http://www.autoblog.com/2012/03/07/bmw-m135i-conce...

I went into Stratstone today and they had no idea what I was on about.

Hi Teknoplug,

Ideally yes would like 4WD for twisty snowy lanes.. So I may be disappointed if no x drive in UK..cannot really think what else to get. Not a mini countryman.

I have a Land Rover for really bad weather but need a run about that can cope when it snows for the trouble and strife.

Shoot.

May have to think hard and fast as to whether a 2wd will cope.. It looks a cracking car and I have never bought a BMW before so was looking forward to the experience.

Hi Greg,
Thanks for that. Do you work for BMW? I note you are an M Power manager.

Any reason why when I went into my BMW garage they could not order me a car?
To be honest they were clueless... with a capital C.

Update!
Went to Coopers in York, very helpful.

Cars available for delivery mid November.
Looking at a white car..comments?
Best option to purchase..comments?

The only addition I would spec is rear parking sensor (for the wife not me!) and sunroof.

Also saw that its only a group 22 to insure which is the icing on the cake, well done BMW.

Whether its in the right or wrong section lets not be too worried.

For others who may be interested it really is good value as a poster mentioned. VERY good value.

Just sourced a car now with various options from BMW dealer. Book price is £32,085. Dealer has come back all in for £28,000. Delivery First week in November. White, red leather, sunroof, tints and Alpina stripe. 5 year servcice.

I have two other dealers sharpening their pencils now.

Hi Panthro,
Thats not a cancellation and is for a new spec car.

As for the Alpina stripes..Mmm I saw the press car and thought it looked great so as they peel on and off not too much of a risk..

Hi Guys,

Yes delighted with all the hard work I put in and some good advice received.

Car ordered as follows:

ALPINE WHITE 5 DOOR
CORAL RED DAKOTA LEATHER
SUNROOF
SUN RPROTECTION PACK
PARK DISTANCE CONTROL
DELIVERY
PAINT SEAL AND PROTECT
NUMBER PLATES

All other options I did not feel applicable as most come with standard. Folding mirrors not wanted, nor heated seats.

Full cost came in at roughly £32,675.
Deal done at £28,000

£31,487 payable over 4 years (Interest at 4.9%) at £320 pcm putting £5,000 down as deposit with balloon at the end £11,440.

(Annual miles of 8,000) we picked this as its the wifes run about so not many mies will be put on it... apart from me who will use it all the time!
Hope this helps if anyone wants to benefit from this price e mail me and I will pass all the paperwork on.

Are you the guy collecting the BMW M135i for that spa town just north of Leeds? They are taking a delivery this week in Estoril (Their first car of two), I was going to call down amd look at it before it was driven away by the happy customer..
