But I thought the 535d was more than enough car and on UK roads the M3/5/6 was just wasted!
Seriously though enjoy your new car! You will know already, hence why you ae coming back to the M fold, but I don't think there is better value for money perfomance car than the M3/M4.

Very nice!
From memory you were a bit lukewarm about your last F80 M3 so do keep us updated on how you're getting on with this one once you've put a few more miles on the clock. Will be interesting to hear your thoughts on whether you think the chassis on the CP is well suited to British roads and whether it's an improvement over the early model M3's/M4's (which seem to have a reputation for being less than forgiving, especially in the wet and/or on bumpy roads).
Will do, first impressions, it rides better and traction seems better too, it is a bit quieter inside, but on roads which are bad and the A11 between Thetford and Norwich is appalling it still drones some, I am getting used to it though and expect it as all my cars suffer on that road. From memory you were a bit lukewarm about your last F80 M3 so do keep us updated on how you're getting on with this one once you've put a few more miles on the clock. Smoother roads NO PROBLEM.
It goes like stink.
