Can you take out a warranty with BMW if the car you're looking to purchase is not currently covered?

Pretty sure you can , may be have to confirm services on time etc. Once you've paid it doesn't start for a month however .
Thanks. I may do some enquiring. I kind of fancy running an E60 for a year just to own the V10, and paying just over £100 a month for the warranty doesn't seem too bad for a "get it out of my system" car.

Yes. Mileage has to under a certain threshold and have been serviced to BMW spec but not necessarily by BMW themselves.

Put the reg in here and it will tell you eligibility.

I put my E39 in there and it gave me a quote, and it hasn't seen BMW or anyone else for a service for years, so I cannot rely on that.
