Hi All,

I'm currently trying to film a "tyre width" video, along the lines of this

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mPyg3ilw3KU

and I've concluded the F80/F82 is probably the best car for me.

I'm currently trying to work out what sizes I could fit. For example, I know on my e92 M3 I could fit (all in 19")

Front: 235/35, 245/35 and 255/35
Rear: 255/35, 275/35 and maybe a 295/30.

Obviously the super wide sizes would need wider aftermarket wheels, but I know they'll fit in the arches without fouling bodywork (well, the 255/35 rubs a little at full lock)

If anyone has any experience of the sizes available on the F8x range I'd really appreciate the input. It should be a super interesting test to see if going from a narrower to wider front and rear combination actually improves performance, or just ruins the balance of the car.

Thanks in advance.

After a bit of research on US forums I found the following:

Stock wheels - 9x19 (ET29) +10x19 (ET40), Style 437M
Stock tyres - 255/35 ZR19 (92Y) TL; and 275/35 ZR19 (100Y)
Stock winter setup is 255/35 square on the 9" wide wheel.

Tuners in america have fitted, on the stock wheels and suspension with no spacers or body modifications:

Front: 255/35, 265/35, 275/35
Rear: 255/35, 275/35, 285/30, 285/35, 295/30, 295/35, 305/30
