Good Morning,

Hoping some of you will be able to share your M2 Competition experiences as I'm looking at pulling the trigger on one later in the year.

Hopefully test driving one next week and can't wait!

Anyone move to one from an older M car?

Cheers for any info!

Cheers for that!

Think we'll do pretty much what we did with the 440i and get a pre reg / low miles one. Dealer we dealt with previously has a 151 mile one in Hockenheim Silver with the comfort pack and brake upgrade.

Going from a Z4MR which I've loved but its time to move on

Interesting to hear other Z4M owners swapping over to the M2C and it being a bit mixed (dependent on your own experiences) result.

I'll be going DCT (Mrs will be driving it mostly) and haven't really missed a manual in the daily.

Cheers for the feedback though! smile

After test driving the M2C DCT last weekend I can definitely see why so many Z4M owners have jumped to it, it's got quite a raw personality even with the DCT that seems pretty close to the Z4M I currently have. Deeply impressed and based on the comments here November really can't come fast enough!

Looking HS with both packs.

Cheers for all the feedback!

With a sigh of relief it gives me great pleasure to join these ranks as a fellow M2C owner.

Deal done, went for a demonstrator with <700 miles on. Deposit paid, pick up next weekend.

Thank you all for the insights and such useful information.

My next question is actually about paint protection? What did you get done? How much did it cost? My experience with the Zed has taught me much about the pain of stone chips.

Thanks again for all the info!

Cheers T1b

And I've joined the M2C ranks!

Drive back threw up a concern a vibration when braking at motorway speed. Wasn't noticeable before on the test drive. I'll see how it is on Monday as I've got the airport run.

Tomorrows mission is a clean and a wax to protect her over winter.

Cheers!

Dumb question,

Anyone here got a BMW Service pack? Just stung for the RIS and I would have thought this would be covered by it?

Cheers for any info.

Yeah, I just double checked and the RIS is indeed covered. Contact centre screw up (I wouldn't mind but I asked twice for the operator to check) but if I hadn't double checked I wonder if they'd still try and invoice me for 350 notes?

Grrr!
