New G20 M3 vs 2018 F80 M3 CS?
Discussion
I'm toying with the idea of buying an M3, and have had my eyes on the CS version of the current F80 model.
It looks great, is very rare, is probably the best of this generation. Used prices are about 30% down from their crazy list price at new, with cars listed around £60k with sub 10k miles on the clock. I'm hoping it's rarity will protect it from much depreciation... (Or am I being naive?...)
Then there's the new M3, looks aside (I quite like it) it's an unknown in terms of performance and the first few cars always have some teething issues. It's a bit more.
What would you do?

£60k for an M3 CS seems expensive to me bearing in mind they retailed at that post discount and they are hardly unique vs a Comp. They look very expensive compared to the £70-odd-k M4 GTS' which have bespoke hardware not which is not available on the other variants.
Interesting. They still seem to be selling, it would be good to know how much for...
What kind of price do you think they would be selling at?
M3 Competitions seem to be going/listed between £37-£45k, that makes me feel that £55k-60k for the CS is about right, but I'm a total amateur at this stuff.
This is the one I have my eyes on:
