Any M2/Comp owners here also carry a dog about?

I have one of those rear seat hammock things, and am thinking about moving to an M2. Anyone here in a similar scenario, it would be great to hear.

Not overly keen on the M3, too big for when I don't have others in the car, for my liking.

We have a cocker spaniel, he's only small. We would consider a larger dog in the future, however, although probably not quite lab size.

I'd be able to lift my dog in, as I do at the moment. What do you guys do? Does the dog jump in on his/her own?
