Is it me or are the standard front discs on 98 m3 not up to the job?
Ive been through 3 sets through warping, 1 set of EBC aftermarket shitters,(be warned these really are wank) and 2 sets of BMW's originals. I almost got the latest pair replaced on the warranty but the dealership noticed ive been using red stuff pads and wouldnt honour it.

The car does do the occational track day nothing to heavy though and just a bit of back road blasting.

Im now trying to get hold of a set of AP big brakes if any body has got a set going let me know, or i may have to dig deep and buy a new set.

any body else had any thing like this?????

breezy/ I dont think its the steering components ive checked all obvious bushes, rack, wheel bearings and can't find any fault with either, read the item at stop tech cheers, but still think its discs at fault. During track days ive done on this set of discs (two) they performed well it was only a week or so later when driving hard i noticed they felt warped, the red stuff pads were fade resistant although they are ready for replacement now, but ill do that when i change to new discs, most likely to AP if i can find a set.

Something else just thought of, brake pedal pulses as well as steering wheel judder and its not the buzzy grinding feeling you get with the pad deposits ive had that before with OE pads.
