I miss my TVR but also like Q Cars.

Mrs RC misses her MX5 and can't drive TVR's, so I'm looking into a V8 MX5.driving

Anyone got any experience?

Funnily enough there is a chap on here who does this very thing... I'll try to find a thread he has done. BRB

Can't find the member. has a name like Miatals1conversion, or something like that.... I'm sure he'll be along.

Now, now...

...actually you're both right

Contact with individuals and converters in the UK and US will be useful, although I will most likely be doing the conversion myself.

Apparently 5.0 H0 Mustang is the way to go.

LS1 option means moving the steering rack and messing with the geometry.

Right just off to see a man about a Ford... evil

it's a great looking car.. but it completely bemuses me that you'd go to all that trouble to do the V8 swap... and then fuel it using a pair of SU carbs !?!?!??! WHY!

Remind me at the next Windmill meet and I'll tell you. I wouldn't want to incriminate anyone here.

Monster were US based but don't exist anymore.

Dont worry I've got two other suppliers sorted.
