Water inside the door

Just had 2 new speakers fitted to my MX-5 as the old ones had broken.

The bloke fitting them for me tells me that I've got water collecting inside the doors, the speaker pods were soaking. He couldn't work out where it was coming from and nor can I see where.

Any ideas chaps?

At least I know why my speakers were broken...

That's great cheers, I'll give it a thorough look over on the weekend with a wire coat hanger.

The original speakers should have had plastic rain-guards to stop them getting wet.
When I fitted my after-market speakers I made up a new plastic rain-guard.

Uh oh. They removed non original speakers, someone had fitted 6.5" speakers so I had them replaced. I wonder how long they will last...
