Quick question for some experts here on the UK value of these? I currently have this for sale in UAE (where car originates from):-

https://tnydu.biz/DOx0dZ - (Admins - I assume no issue with posting a for sale post from an international site? If there is an issue then let me know and I will remove and post full details instead).

Wife has now moved back to UK and is her car. She wanted to take it back - and I said that was ridiculous. I know the car is overvalued on the advert (£20,700), and I am getting offers here of around £11,500. I think it is worth more like £16,000. However it is a buyers market here, and who wants a car that looks like bumblebee, especially when there is a newer model out and available. In the UK there will be less available, but it is LHD, thirsty, and is still yellow (can you tell that I wouldn't have picked a yellow car?!), and I am not sure what the buyers market is like.

So I am looking at whether her ridiculous idea is a smart one. I know it will cost to ship, and convert lights/indicators etc (and whatever else is needed for SVA type approval). I know she will need to keep for 12 months or pay tax on import.

Can someone help me with approx values/likelihood of resale to see if the numbers stack up?

So lets assume 1k for conversion, and 3k for shipping. Drive it for a year and have 55k miles on it.

Approx value for it?

Have a look at PH classifieds and sold vehicles on Ebay.
It'll give you an idea.
I have done that already - I thought there may be some experts on here with real knowledge rather than advertised prices.

16k would be in the Ball park for a clean car.
Thank You.

Numbers don't quite stack up once the import/shipping/additional years depreciation etc has been taken into account. Along with time and effort as well.
