Race Car Import Duty Help!!!!!!

The internet and lock down combined are a dangerous thing. Within minutes of a boring lockdown Monday I had some how purchased a 1967 Camaro race car! Photo below. Not sure what I've done until it arrives. Plan is to race it alongside my Ginetta race car (modern classics) in the Classic Sports Car Club swinging sixties series.

The vehicle is now waiting for shipping. Which has been very simple to arrange. However, the level of import duty is still to be confirmed. I need to prove that the vehicle is over 30 years old and has not been substantially modified since it was a race car. As there is no vehicle log book it has been suggested (by the shippers UK agent) I use the VIN 124377L157162 and run this through a VIN checker. Unfortunately this does not throw up a vehicle just the fact that it should be 17 digits. However I've checked the VIN and its correct as per Camaro guidance. Next suggestion was some form of UK Camaro owners club letter. Does anyone know of such a club? or any suggestions?

The spec is as follows. Car has been racing since late 1968. Until it arrives I am not completely sure but it looks promising:
The engine is a 302 with high nickel 4 bolt block

2nd gen Z28 off road solid lifter cam with stud girdle

Edelbrock cross ram intake

12 bolt rear end with 3:90 posi gears

3 quart accu-sump

Oil cooler with remote filter

14 gallon fuel cell

“TEX” super T10 transmission

4 wheel disc brakes

15X8 power coated wheels

Removeable steering wheel

12:1 power steering

If you contact the NCRS, for about £50, they will send you a letter, which will give the location of its build, date of build, it’s options and it’s first supplying dealer.
I’m not up on 67 Camaro Vins, but Gen 1 production actually started in August 1966.

There are several very good Face Ache Gen 1 groups in the States. I’m on them, loads of good advise on there. I also have a pal in the States called Wayne, who is a Gen 1 encyclopaedia. He has owned loads of them and he also wrote a book on them.

Thank you for your help. I tried applying for the shipping report on line but for some reason it would not accept my chassis number 124377L157162. I've emailed them so hope they will come back to me.
