I have accrued a small collection of watches over the years but they all have a bit of a story to me.
Omega Speedmaster Pro.:
My first proper watch £112.50 from a pawn shop in Plymouth.Worn for 20 odd years as my sole watch. I think they were around £400 then First saw one on a PE teacher at school.
Cartier Santos 100:
My dress/going out watch. Basically jewellery with a great ETA derived movement. Chrono 24 from Spain
Corum Bubble:
Early 2000s saw these locally. best ever lume (better than Panerai i`d say) huge crystal and when bought good price. Americans love them. I have owned 3 over the years
BHI Tourbillon:
I would suggest this is the best way to own a tourbillon don`t lay out a lot of money it`s a lovely thing to watch but the novelty does wear off.
European Company Watch Ganador:
Went into the boutique in Geneva and was so close to buying then held off, recently picked this up for about quarter price, it is huge.I visited Franck Muller Watchland on the same trip and was given a personal tour.
TW Steel Canteen:
My stag do/ eastern europe/spain hell holes watch, sturdy waterproof cheap and cheerful it has been to some rough places.
Accurist:
I was eight years old or so and went with my father to a jewellers in Northwich to buy his good watch. It still keeps time after 54 years of no servicing. I was thinking of a replate somewher?
Roamer:
My wife bought me socks for our first xmas and this for our second.

I have a long list of honourable mentions but enough now.
It would be good to hear about your collection/memories, not just the profit in a rolex sale
