Been offered a 1990 Rolex 16610 Submariner, E serial for around the 4k mark, looks very well looked after a day serviced last year, thoughts on value? Always wanted one, and hoping it would be a good place to invest my cash, not looking to gain but ideally not lose if I need to release funds

Thanks, does have the box in good nick but no papers, but does have all the details from when it was bought from WF plus the service receipt..

Met and bought today, happy all was good checked the serial as well as all the paperwork from watchfinder, very nice watch but I may change the bracelet to a leather one, feels a lot lighter on than my Tag Carrera calibre 16, which is quite a heavy watch..

Here you go, as mentioned going to get a nice black leather strap to try out as well , I have one on my Speedmaster and much prefer it to the steel ones..

Hard to get a good pic it's too shiny

Now with the new hand made strap, I know some will not like it, but I feel it gives the watch a more day to day sporty type feel
