Rolex Waiting Lists

As a family we're looking at getting a few of the more collectable new SS Rolex watches to wear and enjoy and also to pass onto kids/grandkids etc as a reasonable longer term investment (ie not to flip). I've got an initial watch lined up with a local AD (36mm datejust for a lady) to show our willing and over the next few months/years would like to build a relationship with them and get hold of the following:
No date Sub
43mm SeaDweller Anniversary model
SS Daytona Whiteface
Batman GMT (or maybe a Pepsi or whatever other colour they may come up with in SS.. Baselworld will be interesting)
possibly a Milgauss
Other than the Sub are the leadtimes hideous on all the above (the AD is rather vague on this!)? I guess it's worth us asking to be waitlisted for all of them to be on the safe side? Are there any other new models you'd say are particularly collectable? Outside of Rolex I'm considering adding a Speedy of some sort to the list and possibly the new Heuer Autavia and Monza reissues.

Many thanks for that.. really helpful advice. I'm not 100% sold on the current Milgauss (and can't decide on colour) so we may look to get the Sub and Datejust initially if the Milgauss is more readily available (and get on the list for the Daytona/SeaDweller). Interesting about the BLNR GMT, I thought it might be harder to get hold of than that. I like the look of it but would love to see a modern SS pepsi or even a root beer. The AD has a pre-owned steel/gold GMT in at a reasonable price but I'm not convinced on the looks of that for me anyway.. would look nice on a lady though imho.
Update: Initial watch (36mm gold/steel datejust) purchased.. on the AD's list for a no date Sub, Batman GMT, Sea-Dweller 50th Anniversary and white face SS Daytona..
