Discount on Cartier?

Mrs has a big birthday coming up and, as she did for me, she wants me to buy her a watch.

She has her sights set on a Cartier Tank, yes I know, which retails at around £4800.

Am I likely to be able to negotiate a decent discount on this?

The profit margins must be huge!

She's after the bi metal with blue hands, I've just realised that the gold bits add £2k to the price.

Chrono24 have the one she wants at £4300, I wonder if Goldsmiths or Ernest Jones will price match?

Thanks for the replies, I'm struggling with paying an extra £2k for a bi metal model, Mrs currently browsing pre owned and has found a firm called Parkers who supply Harvey Nicks and Harrods who have some nice looking stuff.

I'm unconvinced.
