1981 birth year watch

Want to get a birth year watch for my best mate's 40th, budget around £500 or a few hundred more if more people chip in.

He's not massively into his watches but I think he would appreciate the gift.
He prefers simple round dressy watches.

Any suggestions please?

It does seem that the Omega Geneva is the better bet, and it doesn't have to be made in exactly 1981, I just have to tell him it was

Bit difficult to find one that's not completely wrecked, with an original buckle AND some sort of box within my budget... but will keep looking
