Been asked to make a decision for someone, as they cant... it has to have a leather strap and be suitable for under a suit as well as with jeans and shirt/polo i.e. it needs to be a daily watch, and an only watch.

I've said put the money into a pre-owned Rolex such as;

I quite like this also...

However, I have a feeling the watch has to be something that non-watch enthusiasts will know is expensive which rules out the above.

Any ideas appreciated, I think he wants to order tomorrow.

I don't know the ins and outs - all I know is that when I recommended a few lesser known makes he wasn't keen at all.

I'd go for the PO all day long - but I am reluctant to recommend that as I have one!!

The Breitling shouts, the IWC whispers. The thinking man's choice.
Why thank you! thumbup
I entirely agree - it's common knowledge he is doing well for himself, but he likes people to know he is doing well for himself. I am tempted to press the IWC issue, although that would make me jealous. I think I may just have him buy the Breitling. I would then not be too bothered.
