Took my watch off today to make sure I didn't damage it changing my discs and pads. Put the watch on the roof, changed the brakes, went for a test drive........

Thank God for insurance. Watch was/is an IWC Spitfire, worth about three times the price of my car....

Fingers crossed for a successful claim please. And yes, I know, I'm a stupid ****

Very good - actually I realised what I'd done almost immediately, and recovered the watch, complete with road rash. It's still working fine, but will have to go away for a new case at the very least. It was a 40th birthday present, I hope it's repairable as I'm very attached to it and I don't like the current model as much.
