A6 v Plod Letchworth?

Did anyone see a dark A6 being pursued by the Police in Letchworth just after 11am today? I saw the pair bowling along the A1 north and thought the A6 was just being dopey in the outside lane and not noticed all the noise and flashing lights until it lurched across 3 lanes and off at J9 with the BMW Plod right behind it...

You all might have hit on something here with the training. I live north of Huntingdon and still see road training going on around here but the give away is that they are normally 3 or 4 up in 2 or 3 cars(usually unmarked).
