Discussion
Round 2 one and all! Great turnout last time and very positive feedback from all who attended.
Same as last time, let me know if you're able to make it and what you'll be bringing. 9:00 start time through until 11:30, I have to say the breakfast buffet was lovely, be sure to make the most of it!
Look forward to hearing from you, any questions give me a shout!

Looking very... um... Lotus-ey... me likey!
I wasn't there last time but the first RSVP was an Elise, I'll be in an Elise etc etc, so Elise meet! Although the Esprit ruined it, so it should now be Lotus meet.
Aha, there were only a few last time I'm pretty sure! All are welcome of course!I wasn't there last time but the first RSVP was an Elise, I'll be in an Elise etc etc, so Elise meet! Although the Esprit ruined it, so it should now be Lotus meet.

I’m bringing a guest with a GT86 hope that’s alright. Trying to indoctrinate her into the ways of PH, getting up early on Sundays to stand in a car park with men and generally being a bit of a nerd.
They'd be very welcome! "Nerding is life, anything before or after is just waiting".Right one and all, if the list is anything to go by (which isn't always the case) it could be a quieter one than the first. Not an issue at all when you think it's the start of holiday season and I'm sure I've missed a few off the list. I'm sure it'll be a good one all the same and we're already looking to have a big push for numbers in August!

CHECK THIS BEFORE SETTING OFF TOMORROW...
The forecast isn't looking great so if rain would stop the majority making the trip, please let it be known ASAP and I'll call the venue to say we're quite literally taking a rain check. They'll be open all the same, it'd just out of courtesy so nobody is wasting their time in the morning sectioning off an area of car park. I'll post in the forum to let everyone know by close of play today ONLY IF IT HAS BEEN CALLED OFF. Seem fair...?
Personally I have no issue making the trip but being fair to those who drive something rather more spectacular than myself, completely understand why the wet might deter you. That said I'll not be standing outside in the rain, I'll be in with my full English!
Look forward to hearing back from you and hopefully see you tomorrow morning. Any questions let me know. Drive safe!

RAIN HALTS PLAY
Bit of a wash out this morning as anticipated but it happens. It's all good for the garden anyway!
Thank you so much to those who arrived for a very quite but nether the less most enjoyable breakfast. The Maypole were spot on again sectioning off an area in the car park AND in the restaurant....although those of us there were already full of beans, bacon and black pudding (and the rest) before we realised it! But seriously, massive thank you to those who came out to support in the rain, it meant a great deal.
The next date will be announced in due course. The general feeling this morning was that the bank holiday weekend at the end of August should be avoided and we should move it forward. That or we wait for September but I felt there were lots up for an August meet. Thoughts?
Thanks again all, catch up soon!
