Any recommendations for the above? Ideally looking for someone who has dealt with Letchworth Garden City Heritage Foundation although not a serious issue if not. It's for a ground floor extension to a house, we've already had one "architect" have a go and the result was ummm not very good so that's £2k down the drain mainly due to unfamiliarity with LGCHF rules and don't want to waste any more time/money.

Yes, we had LGCHF issues in a previous house in Letchworth that had been extended by the previous owner, when we came to sell they kicked up a stink about the windows and extension but not a peep from them when we bought that house originally but there was a 20 year gap between buying and selling and all we had changed were the double glazing glass. Inconsistency certainly rules, we are in a terrace and wanted a full width rear single story extension but the rules expressly forbid full width rear extensions on terraced houses but guess what, there's a house around the corner exactly the same as ours for sale that has a full width rear extension built in the last few years!
