Thanks. But I’m not looking for regs or process. I’m looking for someone to do the work. I’m also in Bucks not Beds. camel_landy said:
Have you already spoken to Bedfordshire Borough Council? If not, you'll be needing this link:

You are not allowed to drive over a footway or verge unless a vehicle crossing has been constructed by us in accordance with section 184 of the Highways Act 1980.
Only we can build vehicle crossovers. It is an offence for anyone else to make any changes to the public footway.
It's also worth noting:Only we can build vehicle crossovers. It is an offence for anyone else to make any changes to the public footway.

A crossing which covers the full frontage will not be permitted except in exceptional circumstances.

I read the title... I read post 3 too...
I also see you're avoiding a direct question about your intentions.
...now if I was reading between the lines too, it's coming across that you're looking to commit an offence by employing a contractor, other than the council, to install a dropped kerb outside your property.

This is hilarious. at least you are good value. I also see you're avoiding a direct question about your intentions.

Uh hu...
How about answering a direct question with a simple "Yes" or "No":
Is the dropped kerb for accessing your property from the road?

Are you a local? Don’t recall you posting in this area much? Or are you just stalking me across the forum? How about answering a direct question with a simple "Yes" or "No":

Btw if you’d done as suggested and actually read any of the content. You’d note you have the wrong county and the wrong legislation/guidance. Thus rendering your “interrogation” utterly pointless.
But ho-hum. Do carry on....
