Daily grind consists of catching the pendelinos.

fking disgrace here right now. Too many people, too few carriages. It's obvious that the system is broke.

I don't give a toss about standing, I'm 38 and in reasonable shape. It's the kids, elderly and the lack of fking oxygen. And where is the aircon?

Yet the motorist pays and pays and naturally due to the ever increasing tax and cost on vehicle transport. Its clear they are trying to force us onto public transport.

At what point do we say. Its fked...?

Virgin West Coast Pendolino,

1st class - great. Plenty of room, OK-ish food, comfy.

Standard class - ste. Cramped seats that many people don't fit in properly, if you can even get a seat at all.

Answer: make sure your employer will pay for 1st, or move to a job that will.
I'm a contractor and too tight to pay for first. Even though I am on decent day rate. Could expense it also.

Been doing this for years and ain't got a clue what's on offer in first.

What if you don't get a seat in first class? Is it back to my usual cattle class in standard?

I keep thinking first class is full of Remain voters, don't see many coloured people like me in there. Will I be safe?

Oh no... I used that term beginning with C.

Probably the best commuter train of the lot...

Where are you going to/from?

I get a seat in/out London every dat at peak times, unless there are delays.
..

Leamington to Wolverhampton. And then back. The route is royally fked

Birmingham new street is diabolical. That's where the mayhem starts. And then you have the cheap holiday lot who think it's wise to carry trunks on a rammed train from Birmingham International.
