So I realise that it's very early to starting talking about this, we do not even know if air shows will happen next year, but I like to keep a positive outlook.
A couple of things worthy of note, firstly it's the 50th Anniversary of the first RIAT at North Weald in 1971, and secondly, the A10 Demo Team has already self confirmed smile

Sadly, the inevitable announced today, another year cancelled.
I think in my heart I knew it would be, but did not want to admit, even to myself

Thread revival - anyone booked for 2022?

I've convinced MrsTheWife that she wouldn't enjoy two days of fast jets, so I'm taking the motorhome solo and booked three nights camping at the site next door - even better the 16th is my birthday !

Anyone else ?
It's looking like a very interesting line up... I will be working down there for a most of the week

Not long now to RIAT. Will be going on Saturday and will be in the Cotswold enclosure (I believe from memory!). The aircraft list is looking pretty good, just noticed two B-52’s have been added, one static and one flying.
It looks like they are really pulling all the stops out this year, great to see some "Russian" Helicopters flying too (Mi17 and Mi24).
There is usually an update on new additions on a Thursday, and I imagine that they will keep the best till last, so watch this space tomorrow I guess.

I can see the Daily Mail headlines now...
" Doomsday plan is stationed at UK base under the pretense of an airshow due to Ukraine tensions"
