Plane Landed short at Heathrow

No fire or smoke but every airport fire vehcile attending.

Heathrow closed to arrivals and departures.

All the passengers got off OK apparently via the emergency slides.

Blimey, half the wing has come off!

Helicopter pictures show it has come in a LONG way short and skidded along the grass for hell of a distance!

Both wings look pretty smashed up as well as the engines. I can't see one of those runways opening any time soon!

From the brief glances of the helicopter footage it looked like it came in about 200yards at least short. Sounds more like a crash rather than a botched landing!
